Austin, TX/London, England

London Lack is a graduate from The University of Texas at Austin, receiving her BFA in Dance and her BA in Plan II Honors. She trained the majority of her life as a classical ballet dancer, later diversifying her physical practice though studying modern, post-modern, and contemporary dance. Through her studies she discovered a love of Dramaturgy, ultimately leading her to focus primarily on choreographic creation and the implementation of dramaturgical practices in contemporary ballet - an endeavor she is formally pursuing through MFA in Choreography from the Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London, England.
In addition to her choreographic work, she is also a writer, filmmaker, and published researcher. Prior to her decision to fully peruse art, she studied and worked in various legislative settings with the intention of perusing a legal career. She still carries these experiences and the knowledge she acquired with her into artistic settings, giving her artistic career a well rounded and scholastic foundation.
